Art Bachelorette Party in Minsk: How a Creative Celebration Works at MAKA Art
What is an art bachelorette party?
An art bachelorette is a party format where the main entertainment is collaborative creativity. Instead of karaoke or a restaurant, you and your friends create something beautiful with your own hands — and take it home as a keepsake.
At MAKA Art, we host art bachelorettes every week. Over the past year, dozens of groups have come through our studio — from 4 to 20 friends. Here's how it works.
How an art bachelorette party works
1. Arrival and meeting the master
You arrive at the studio — the space is already prepared. Workstations are set up, materials are laid out, music is playing. The master greets you, explains the program, and helps you choose molds or colors.
2. The creative process
This is the longest and most enjoyable part — 2–3 hours of hands-on work. You're not just making "crafts." You create real interior décor pieces:
- Gypsum items — trays with marble effect, planters, jewelry boxes. We have 200+ silicone molds — the largest collection in Belarus
- Handmade candles — from soy wax, with perfume oils from France. 30+ scents to choose from
- Paintings — acrylic, fluid art, synchronized painting
3. Photos and relaxation
While your creations dry — a photo session in the studio, tea with treats, and quality time with friends. We provide a table, glasses, and cutlery — feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks.
4. Packing up and heading home
Each friend leaves with their own creation — packaged and ready. That's the key difference from a typical bachelorette: instead of a hangover — a beautiful keepsake.
What makes an art bachelorette special
A traditional party is great too — no shade. But if you're looking for something different, here's why groups love the creative format:
- Everyone takes home something they made. Not a store-bought souvenir, but something you created yourself. A candle you'll light at home and remember the evening. A tray that sits on your shelf and reminds you of your friends.
- Everyone's involved. No one's sitting in a corner scrolling their phone — you're all working on something together, helping each other, discussing colors and shapes.
- Comfortable for everyone. One friend doesn't drink, another is pregnant, a third is an introvert — everyone feels at ease at a workshop. No experience needed.
- Aesthetic content. The creative process, vibrant colors, beautiful results — stories and photos happen naturally, no staging required.
- Zero regrets the next morning. Just a finished piece on your windowsill and a pleasant tiredness.
