Cancellation and Refund Policy
Rules for cancelling workshop bookings and refunding payments — edition of July 17, 2026
We understand that plans can change. This Policy governs the procedure for withdrawing from booked services (workshops, events) and refunding amounts paid, in accordance with Article 736 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus and Article 38-1 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Consumer Protection”. The Policy forms an integral part of the Public Offer Agreement.
1. Cancellation by the Client
You may withdraw from the service at any time. On withdrawal we refund the amount paid less the expenses we have actually incurred in preparing your event (Article 736 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus, Article 38-1 of the Law “On Consumer Protection”). Actual expenses include: the cost of materials purchased and prepared for you, the artist’s fee for the reserved time, and the cost of preparing the venue. A breakdown of the amount withheld is provided on request.
Refund terms and conditions:
- More than 24 hours before the start of the event: 100% of the amount paid is refunded — by this point we have usually not yet incurred any expenses for your booking. If you prefer, instead of a refund we can move your booking to another date at no extra charge.
- Less than 24 hours before the start of the event: the expenses actually incurred are deducted from the refund (materials have already been prepared, the artist’s fee for the slot has been reserved). Depending on the type of workshop, such expenses may amount to the full price of the service. If you prefer, instead of a refund with deductions we can offer to move your booking to another date free of charge — the choice is always yours.
- No-show without notice: the right to withdraw from the service remains in this case too, but by the start of the event the expenses of preparing it (materials, the artist’s work, the venue) have already been incurred in full and are deducted from the refund. In practice this means the refund may be nil — but we are always ready to provide a breakdown of the expenses withheld.
2. Cancellation by the Studio
If a workshop is cancelled on the Studio’s initiative (illness of the artist, technical reasons), we offer, at your choice:
- A full refund of the amount paid (100%);
- Or moving your booking to any other date convenient for you;
- Or issuing a gift certificate for a workshop to the value of the amount paid.
3. Gift certificates
The circulation of gift certificates is governed by the Regulation approved by Resolution No. 935 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 22 December 2018. The validity period is stated on the certificate itself. Once a certificate has expired, no services are provided under it and the amount paid is not refundable, in accordance with the said Regulation. If you have questions about using a valid certificate, contact us — we will do our best to help.
4. Refund procedure and time limits
A refund request is considered and satisfied within 7 (seven) calendar days of its receipt.
Where payment was made by bank payment card, the refund is made only to the same card used for the payment. Funds are credited to the card within 1 to 30 days of the refund being made (depending on the card-issuing bank).
