Alcohol Ink Master Class in Minsk — Abstract Art on Paper
Alcohol ink is a modern technique for creating airy, translucent abstracts that resemble flower petals, drifting smoke or a cross-section of stone.
We paint on special synthetic paper: the inks glide across it and blend into remarkable gradients as you push them around with a stream of air from a hairdryer.
The technique is deeply meditative. We add metallic pigments (gold, silver) to the inks so your painting catches the light.
